The Rayflex Company was approached by a company from the industrial oven industry to machine a carbon steel component. The carbon steel industrial oven component had an outside diameter of 6", an inside diameter of 4" and was ¾" thick. After the 20 components were milled and turned, they went through a 100% dimensional inspection and were delivered to the client's Massachusetts location. The components held tightest tolerances of ±.0005" throughout the process and were turned around in 2 to 3 weeks.
