Milling of Delrin Components

The Rayflex Company was approached by a customer from the food processing industry to mill a component. The component, which was made of Delrin AF, measured 2.5" long, 1.5" wide, and 1" high. The total of 30 pieces were milled and drilled, all while holding a tightest tolerance of ±.003" throughout the entire process.
After a through 100% dimensional inspection the components, which were turned around in 2 weeks, were shipped to the client's Connecticut location.
