Thread Grinding of Stainless Steel Components

A customer from the electronics industry came to The Rayflex Company because they needed us to thread grind 100 stainless steel components. The 304 stainless steel electronics components were each 2" long, 2" wide, 1.5" high and had a inside diameter of .875". The components went through six different processes, including: turning, milling, drilling, grooving, honing and thread grinding. Throughout all processes we held tightest tolerances of ±.0003". The components were 100% dimensionally inspected and then sent to the client's New Jersey location.
